We have all read in the papers and seen on the T.V. the story of Lisa Dorrian. Lisa Dorrian, 25, was last seen at a party on a caravan site in Ballyhalbert on 28th February 2005. Despite extensive searches her body has never been found.
Lisa was a beautiful young woman who had many friends and was loved by all including her family and boyfriend Jamie.
The way that the Dorrian Family have campaigned for the whereabouts of Lisa has been so dignified and heart rendering, especially when rumours have been doing the rounds about by whom and why Lisa disappeared.
We all have lost loved ones in our lives, I have lost two in the last few months, which is why just typing this story fills me up with great sorrow and tears. The one big difference between Lisa’s family and mine, is I got to say goodbye and goodnight, the Dorrian family have not been afforded this opportunity, and I can not imagine what that can feel like.
North Down GSC felt that after the support shown by the Linfield Players in Bangor; and the supporters of Glentoran and Linfield in the Setanta Cup and at the Northern Ireland International, we must keep the campaign for Lisa going and help the police and her family.
Through the William Hills Prediction League and this website, we can reach out to every Irish League Supporters right across the divide. Somebody who goes to football must know some information regarding the disappearance of Lisa.
We understand that somebody out there has “some or any” information relating to this story, but are worried about contacting the Police or the Family Website, for fear of being arrested or attacked for coming forward with information. This is where we at North Down come in.
We have set up an email address which shall be confidential and not linked to the PSNI or the Official Site. Any information you may have regarding the case, however small you may think, please let us know, we shall pass on any information you may have to the family, in the strictest confidence.
Somebody out there knows what happened that night and where Lisa is. Perhaps you have a name of somebody that knows or may know the events of where Lisa is. The family deserve to have Lisa's body back and to have the chance to say goodbye and goodnight, to their Daughter and Sister. We beg you to think of how YOU would feel if your loved one was in this situation? All that’s being asked is the whereabouts of Lisa or a name of somebody who knows.
To Lisa
We promise that our club will carry on the campaign to find you, regardless of how long that shall be. Irish League Football Supporters are all united regardless of which team they support in the hope you shall be found, and closure for your family can be sought.
GOD BLESS YOU LISA & YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
